Ringier Sports Media Group Reorganizes Leadership Structure

Ringier Sports Media Group Reshuffles Leadership, Names Tim Kollmann New CEO

The Ringier Sports Media Group (RSMG) has announced a major leadership restructuring as it enters its next phase of international growth.

Robin Lingg is stepping down as Chairman of the Board, with Marc Walder, CEO of Ringier AG, taking over the role. Walder is expected to steer the group strategically and further strengthen its global digital and content-driven business model.

Tim Kollmann, previously Chief Operating Officer since the company’s founding, has been appointed as the new Group CEO. He will now take full operational responsibility, focusing on integrating RSMG’s media brands, expanding digital platforms, and developing new revenue streams.

Meanwhile, Stilian Shishkov transitions from an operational role into the Board of Directors while continuing his involvement as a key stakeholder and media entrepreneur within the group’s broader ecosystem.

The leadership changes follow RSMG’s initial four-year growth phase, during which the company expanded to over 23 million users across seven countries. The new structure is designed to support further international expansion and deepen the integration of sports media brands with technology and digital business models.
