The highest kit launch in history

Inter de Bogotá gold and black jersey floating at 30,000 meters above Earth, showcasing the stratosphere and the club's new identity.

In a historic move for Colombian football, Internacional de Bogotá has officially reached the stratosphere. As part of a disruptive global branding strategy, the club successfully sent its new 2026 kit to an altitude of over 30,000 meters, marking an unprecedented milestone in the nation’s sports marketing history.

The activation, which has already gone viral across social media, involved launching a high-tech stratospheric balloon from the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo. Equipped with 4K cameras and GPS tracking, the jersey endured extreme conditions—braving temperatures as low as -50°C—while capturing breathtaking footage of the Earth’s curvature.

A New Era for Bogotá Football

This “space launch” is more than just a stunt; it symbolizes the club’s transformation. Formerly known as La Equidad, the institution rebranded to Internacional de Bogotá in late 2025 following an acquisition by the Tylis-Porter investor group.

“Sending our jersey into space is a way of expressing who we want to be: a club that thinks big and believes that global stories can be told from Bogotá,” said Mauricio Ucrós, the club’s Commercial and Marketing Director.

Design Inspired by Legend

The new kit features a sophisticated palette of black, white, and gold, drawing inspiration from the myth of El Dorado. The design also pays homage to local landmarks like the Eastern Hills (Cerros Orientales) and the Andean Condor, blending traditional Colombian symbols with a modern, “space-age” ambition.

With this launch, Inter de Bogotá aims to position itself as the most innovative alternative in the capital’s football scene, signaling to fans and rivals alike that for this club, the sky is no longer the limit.
