The port of Monaco has turned into a floating showcase of extreme wealth as high-net-worth spectators arrive for the Monaco Grand Prix, with dozens of superyachts anchoring along the coastline and berth prices reaching record levels.
According to local reports, around 115 yachts longer than 24 meters are currently docked in the harbor, while many others are anchored outside the marina due to limited space during race week. The scene has once again highlighted Monaco’s status as the most exclusive stop on the Formula 1 calendar.
Among the most notable vessels is the 79-meter yacht Mimtee, which has drawn significant attention for its size and positioning. Another prominent yacht, Silver Fox, is stationed along the Quai des États-Unis, one of the most sought-after viewing locations overlooking the circuit.
Demand has pushed berthing prices sharply higher. Smaller yachts are reportedly paying around €22,000 for docking privileges during the event, equivalent to roughly 1.2 million Turkish lira at current exchange rates. Premium waterside positions for larger vessels can reach up to €600,000.
For the largest yachts exceeding 90 meters, prices rise even further, with prime locations commanding totals above €1 million for full hospitality packages over the race weekend.
The combination of Formula 1 racing and ultra-luxury tourism continues to define Monaco’s Grand Prix as not just a sporting event, but one of the world’s most exclusive social and financial gatherings.
