The Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA) has officially secured a major partnership with Allianz, naming the insurance giant as its official partner through 2032. This long-term collaboration, centered around the “Allianz Futures” program, positions the German company as a primary developer of athletic talent in Spain.
The initiative is strategically focused on the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games, targeting athletes in the U-18, U-20, and U-23 categories. According to reports from Runner’s World, the program will receive €180,000 in funding from Allianz over the first three years.
Key features of the partnership include:
- Visibility: Brand presence across all RFEA competitions.
- Content: Exclusive digital content and the creation of the Allianz Athletics Generation Awards.
- Development: Comprehensive support, detection, and career preparation for young athletes.
Rising talent Hugo Casañas emphasized the impact of the deal, stating, “For a young athlete, having the right resources is fundamental.” Fellow athlete María Forero added that such support “allows you to grow much faster as an athlete.”
