Juventus has officially expanded the reach of its popular children’s animated series, Team Jay, into Mainland China. Through a new exclusive agreement with Migu, the show is being introduced with Chinese dubbing, timed perfectly to coincide with the 2026 Chinese New Year celebrations.

The move marks a significant step in Juventus’ strategy to engage with younger audiences in one of football’s most commercially vital markets.

Exclusive Holiday Release on Migu

From February 13 to 23, 2026, Team Jay will be distributed exclusively on Migu, releasing two new episodes daily. As a leading digital platform that already holds Serie A broadcast rights, Migu provides an ideal ecosystem for Juventus to integrate live football action with youth-oriented entertainment.

This partnership allows Juventus to leverage an established digital infrastructure to reinforce its multi-layer content strategy across Asia.

Team Jay as a Global Brand Extension

Positioned as the first-ever animated series created by a football club, Team Jay targets children aged six to eleven. The series focuses on core values such as:

  • Teamwork and Inclusion
  • Environmental Awareness
  • Empathy and Community

Beyond its educational value, the series has proven to be a powerhouse in digital metrics. In 2025, the show reached 105.6 million views on YouTube, marking a 24% increase from the previous year. December 2025 alone saw over 13 million views, the second-highest monthly performance in the series’ history.

Long Term Engagement in the Chinese Market

By launching during the Chinese New Year, Juventus is tapping into a peak period of digital consumption. The club is not just seeking immediate views but is building a long-term brand connection with the next generation of fans. As European clubs look for new ways to diversify revenue, Juventus is proving that original intellectual property (IP) is a key tool for global growth.
