Cabify Expands LaLiga Presence with Atlético de Madrid Mobility Partnership

Cabify, the leading mobility platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Atlético de Madrid, becoming the club’s official mobility partner. This agreement marks Cabify’s third major collaboration in Spanish football, following existing deals with Athletic Club and Real Racing.

Strategic Integration into the ‘Ciudad del Deporte’

The partnership covers the club’s men’s and women’s first teams and extends beyond current matchday operations at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. A cornerstone of the deal includes a long-term commitment to the club’s future “Ciudad del Deporte” (Sports City) project, an ambitious initiative aimed at transforming the northeast corridor of Madrid into a premier sports and leisure hub.

Key Benefits for Fans:

  • Exclusive Access: Fans will benefit from mobility discounts, specialized promotions, and raffles during home games.
  • Seamless Logistics: The partnership aims to streamline stadium access, making arrivals and departures at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano more efficient.
  • Sustainability Focus: The deal aligns with both entities’ goals of promoting sustainable and accessible transportation for the club’s large fan base.

Corporate Vision

“We have made significant efforts to improve stadium access, and this alliance with Cabify makes travel for our fan base even easier and more comfortable,” said Óscar Mayo, General Director of Revenue and Operations at Atlético de Madrid. “This partnership transcends the present to become a strategic pillar for the Ciudad del Deporte.”

Alberto González, General Director of Cabify Spain, added: “Born and raised on the streets of Madrid, this agreement with Atlético de Madrid is more than a sports sponsorship; it is a natural union of two entities that share a deeply local DNA.”

While the financial terms and duration of the contract were not disclosed, the deal represents a significant expansion of Cabify’s sports business strategy, further cementing their role as the preferred mobility provider within LaLiga.
