TotalEnergies Expands Cycling Sponsorship to Six Major French Races

Energy giant TotalEnergies has announced a major expansion of its cycling sponsorship portfolio. Building on its role as an Official Partner of the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes with Zwift, the company has officially become a partner of six additional professional cycling races in France, starting with the 2026 season.

Strengthening the French Cycling Calendar
The new partnership underscores TotalEnergies’ commitment to supporting professional cycling across diverse regions of France. The races included in this expanded agreement are:

Paris-Nice

Paris-Roubaix (Men’s and Women’s editions)

Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Tro Bro Léon

Paris-Tours

For the stage races, specifically Paris-Nice and the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, TotalEnergies will enhance its brand presence by serving as the official sponsor of the “Stage Winner” award. As part of a community-focused initiative, the trophies for these 2026 events will be designed and produced by students from the Hapy Industrial Academy, an institution supported by the TotalEnergies Foundation.

A Comprehensive Cycling Strategy
This announcement is part of a broader evolution in TotalEnergies’ sports sponsorship strategy. The company remains a key player in the professional peloton through several long-standing commitments:

Team Sponsorships: TotalEnergies continues its role as title sponsor for the Team TotalEnergies professional cycling team and maintains a commercial partnership with INEOS Grenadiers.

Grassroots Engagement: The company is active in supporting various “cyclosportive” events linked to major professional races, fostering a direct connection with cycling enthusiasts and amateurs.

Long-Term Vision: Through these partnerships, TotalEnergies aims to leverage the massive reach of cycling to connect its brand with the public across France.
