Inter Miami Extends Duracell Partnership Ahead of Nu Stadium Era

Inter Miami CF has renewed its partnership with global battery manufacturer Duracell, extending the agreement that names the company as the club’s Official Power Partner as it prepares for a major new chapter with the opening of its future home stadium.

The partnership renewal arrives at a pivotal moment for the MLS franchise, which is moving closer to the launch of Nu Stadium, part of the wider Miami Freedom Park development. The venue is expected to become the club’s long-term home and a central pillar in its commercial and global growth strategy.

Powering Inter Miami’s Performance Technology

Duracell will continue supplying batteries that support a range of technologies across Inter Miami’s operations. These include player performance systems, training equipment and several tools used on matchdays.

Among the devices powered by the partnership are GPS tracking vests and heart-rate monitoring systems, technologies widely used in elite football to collect performance data and support sports science analysis. Such systems allow coaching staff to track player workloads, fitness levels and tactical movement in real time.

The agreement also extends to operational and fan-facing technologies, ensuring that Duracell products remain integrated throughout the club’s broader technology ecosystem.

Preparing for the Nu Stadium Launch

The renewed deal aligns with the upcoming opening of Nu Stadium, a milestone project for Inter Miami as it transitions from its current temporary venue to a permanent stadium environment.

The new venue is expected to expand the club’s commercial opportunities and elevate its international visibility. As the stadium comes online, Duracell’s products will help power the infrastructure behind matchday operations, performance analysis and several digital systems designed to enhance the fan experience.

Executive Perspective

Euan Warren, Vice President of Partnerships at Inter Miami CF, said the partnership reflects the club’s commitment to reliability and performance.

“Duracell is a brand built on performance and reliability, two qualities that define everything we’re building at Inter Miami,” Warren said.

Duracell Vice President of Marketing Todd Midura highlighted the brand’s role in supporting both team operations and fan engagement.

“Renewing this partnership reflects the energy we put into everything we do with the club—from the training vests that fuel player insights to helping shape the fan experience at Nu Stadium,” Midura said.

For Inter Miami, the agreement underscores how technology, data and infrastructure are becoming central components of modern football operations—particularly as the club prepares to enter its next era with the opening of its new stadium.
