A €349M Branding Empire

The Elite “Big Four” and Juventus

The European football sponsorship landscape has reached new heights in 2026, with the top five shirt deals alone generating €349 million annually. Four clubs currently share the top spot, each securing €70 million per year from their main partners:

  • Real Madrid: Emirates
  • FC Barcelona: Spotify
  • Manchester United: Snapdragon
  • Paris Saint-Germain: Qatar Airways

The major surprise in the rankings is Juventus, which has secured fifth place with its €69 million deal with Jeep (valid until 2028). This allows the Italian giants to overtake Manchester City, whose current deal with Etihad Airways stands at €65 million.

The Premier League’s “Betting Ban” Shift

English football is facing a historic turning point. This season marks the final year that gambling agencies are permitted to appear on the front of Premier League shirts.

  • Financial Gap: Clubs must find new ways to fill a projected £100 million deficit.
  • Digital Pivot: Investment is shifting toward digital platforms, which now account for 73% of global communication budgets.
  • Chelsea’s Big Move: Currently without a main sponsor, Chelsea is reportedly negotiating a massive €75 million/year deal with Riyadh Air.
