Sky Sports has officially become the exclusive UK and Ireland broadcaster for all Zuffa Boxing events, marking a major step for Dana White’s new boxing venture. The multi-year agreement includes a commitment to stage at least five shows annually in the UK, giving the promotion an immediate foothold in mainstream broadcast television.
The deal reinforces Sky Sports’ long-standing dedication to boxing amid rising competition from BT Sport/TNT Sports and streaming giant DAZN. “We share the same ambition to put on the best fights for viewers,” said Sky Sports chief Jonathan Licht, highlighting the alignment between broadcaster and promoter. Dana White described the agreement as “a massive milestone” for Zuffa Boxing.
The first card under the new deal, Zuffa Boxing 05: Cortes vs Garcia, is set for April 5 at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. The main event will feature unbeaten contender Andres Cortes facing Eridson Garcia, while former world champion Mark Magsayo will take on Ireland’s Feargal McCrory. A full 2026 schedule is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
White, best known as the long-time president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has long been a dominant figure in combat sports. With this new broadcast partnership, Zuffa Boxing aims to translate that influence into mainstream boxing, leveraging Sky Sports’ reach to grow its audience across the UK and Ireland.
