The Austrian Football Association has officially unveiled its new away kit in collaboration with Puma, introducing a design that blends national identity with modern performance technology as attention builds toward the 2026 World Cup cycle.
The new jersey draws inspiration from Austria’s renowned coffeehouse culture, incorporating flowing gold lines influenced by Art Nouveau design and a marble-like pattern reminiscent of traditional café tables. Subtle turquoise and magenta accents complete a look that aims to merge cultural storytelling with a contemporary football aesthetic.
For ÖFB, the kit is more than a visual update—it is a statement of identity. The association emphasized the importance of combining performance, recognition, and cultural heritage in a single design that reflects Austrian football both on and off the pitch.
Puma echoed that vision, framing the kit as a continuation of its broader storytelling approach to Austrian football. Following the home kit release, the away strip further develops that narrative by translating a uniquely Austrian cultural element into a high-performance jersey designed for elite competition.
The kit will be available in two versions. The Authentic edition is built with Puma’s lightweight Ultraweave fabric and incorporates dryCELL and ThermoAdapt technologies, designed to enhance moisture management and temperature regulation for professional players. The Replica version offers the same visual identity with a more relaxed fit tailored for supporters.
Sustainability also plays a key role in the release. According to Puma, both versions of the shirt are made with at least 50% recycled materials, aligning with the growing emphasis on environmentally responsible production in sportswear.
The new away kit is now available through the official ÖFB store, with wider retail distribution through Puma outlets and partner shops beginning March 24.
