Adidas has officially signed a landmark deal with the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CBB). Starting in 2027, the German giant will become the official outfitter for all national categories, including Men’s, Women’s, Youth, and 3×3 teams.
Reunited for Los Angeles 2028
The partnership aims squarely at the 2028 Olympic cycle. This move follows Adidas’s recent deal with the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), positioning the brand as the primary engine behind Brazil’s elite athletes.
- A Historic Reunion: Adidas previously dressed Brazil during iconic moments, such as the 1987 Pan American gold against the USA.
- The Gap Era: Following the end of the Nike era in 2024, Brazil may use a temporary or “in-house” brand during 2026 before the Adidas kits officially debut.
- Fan Access: For the first time in years, a full range of official performance and lifestyle gear will be available to fans globally.
