MLB and Adobe Expand Partnership to Transform Digital Fan Experiences

Major League Baseball (MLB) and Adobe have announced a significant expansion of their multi-year partnership, aiming to revolutionize how fans interact with the sport through artificial intelligence and personalized digital content. Adobe has also been named the official Presenting Sponsor of MLB Opening Day for the next three years (2026–2028).

Transforming the “Ballpark Atmosphere”

The collaboration focuses on scaling personalized experiences for millions of fans, whether they are at the stadium, at home, or on the go. By integrating Adobe’s enterprise solutions, MLB aims to bridge the gap between data and content, making the fan journey more relevant and engaging.

Key Strategic Pillars

  • Adobe GenStudio for Performance Marketing: Enables MLB marketing teams to create, manage, and measure high-quality, personalized campaigns at scale across all digital channels.
  • Adobe LLM Optimizer: A visibility solution that helps MLB optimize how their content appears in AI-driven search results, ensuring the league remains top-of-mind as fans search for tickets, stats, and updates.
  • Adobe Firefly Services: Accelerates asset production by using generative AI to streamline workflows—from creating localized campaigns to resizing assets for different platforms.
  • Fan-Led Creativity: With Adobe Express, fans can now create their own standout digital content, using authentic MLB designs and AI-powered tools to personalize social media posts with team colors and logos.

Why This Matters

As MLB continues to see record-breaking growth in viewership and stadium attendance—capped by the most-watched World Series game in 34 years in 2025—the league is doubling down on digital innovation.

Uzma Rawn, MLB’s Chief Marketing Officer, stated: “Adobe is a global leader in digital experiences and creativity, and this relationship provides us with the technology to better understand and deliver what our fans want and need digitally.”

Rachel Thornton, CMO of Adobe Enterprise, added: “Our work with MLB is setting a benchmark for what it means to engage with fans in the era of AI.”
