AS1, the global sports representation agency backed by Bruin Capital, has announced a significant expansion of its international operations through the acquisition of Greek agency Prosport and a strategic partnership with Austria-based More Than Sport. While the financial terms of the deals were not disclosed, the moves mark a major step in AS1’s plan to dominate the European player representation market.

A Strategic Entry into the Hellenic Market

The acquisition of Prosport follows the agency’s recognition as the top football agency in Greece for five consecutive years. The deal integrates Prosport’s elite portfolio, which includes seven Greek international players, into the AS1 network, providing a solid foundation in the Mediterranean region.

Expanding the Austrian Connection

Simultaneously, AS1 has finalized a collaboration agreement with the Austrian firm More Than Sport. This partnership adds more than 90 players to the AS1 ecosystem, 16 of whom compete in various top-tier divisions. The two agencies will work together on international transfer negotiations, career strategy, and comprehensive athlete support, leveraging their combined networks to facilitate high-level moves across multiple markets.

Managing a Global Roster of Elite Talent AS1 currently represents over 300 professional players from 35 nationalities, competing in more than 30 leagues worldwide. Its star-studded roster features names such as Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Luis Díaz (Bayern Munich), Piero Hincapié (Arsenal FC), and Nuno Mendes (PSG).

Commitment to Excellence and Modern Representation Ignacio Aguillo, CEO of AS1, highlighted the strategic importance of these moves: “The acquisition of Prosport reinforces our vision of building a global network based on trust and excellence. Prosport shares our values and our focus on modern football representation.” Regarding the Austrian alliance, Aguillo added that the partnership with More Than Sport would “expand our reach and create new opportunities for top-level players while maintaining a focus on long-term professional development.”
