Aston Martin is relying on Fernando Alonso not only to support its Formula 1 ambitions on track, but also to drive the team’s commercial growth. The Spaniard’s continued presence gives the British team visibility over almost €400 million in revenue through 2027.

The Formula 1 operation is seeking to build on the business momentum generated by its long-term project around Alonso. Aston Martin is targeting revenue of around €440 million while aiming to reduce its losses by approximately 10%.

Alonso’s continuation is central to that plan. Beyond his sporting value, the two-time world champion provides Aston Martin with global visibility and commercial appeal as the team continues to invest in its Formula 1 operation.

The project, backed by Lawrence Stroll, is designed to strengthen Aston Martin’s position both competitively and commercially. The team is looking to turn its growing presence in Formula 1 into a broader business opportunity, with Alonso remaining a key part of that strategy.

For Aston Martin, the objective is increasingly clear: improve its performance on track while expanding the financial return from its Formula 1 platform. Alonso’s future with the team is expected to remain an important part of that equation through 2027.
