Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell Secures Title Sponsor Through 2028

The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell has confirmed the renewal of its long-standing title sponsorship agreement with Banco Sabadell. The new contract extends the partnership for three seasons, through to 2028, with an additional one-year option that could see the collaboration reach a two-decade milestone.

A Historic Partnership

The financial institution has been the tournament’s title sponsor since 2008. By the end of the 2026 season, the bank will have completed 18 consecutive years as the primary partner of the prestigious clay-court event, which is hosted by the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona-1899.

While the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, reports indicate that the previous annual investment exceeded €1 million per season.

Celebrating the 73rd Edition

The tournament remains a cornerstone of the ATP 500 circuit, with the upcoming 73rd edition scheduled to take place from April 11 to April 19, 2026.

Beyond commercial branding, the partnership remains focused on social impact. The bank continues to drive the “Aces Solidarios” (Solidarity Aces) initiative, a project that converts every service ace recorded during the tournament into direct financial support for non-profit organizations and social causes.
