The Brazilian Football Federation has officially announced a groundbreaking partnership with Jordan Brand, marking the first time the iconic Jumpman logo will appear on the Brazil national team’s kit. While the traditional yellow home jersey remains a Nike product, the 2026 World Cup away kit serves as the focal point of this new collaboration.
Inspired by the legendary 2002 World Cup-winning squad, the away kit merges the aesthetics of Brazilian football heritage with the classic design language of the Jordan Brand. Designers Liv Bolung and Mackenzie Sam emphasized that the collection is intended to honor the legacies of both the 2002 team—featuring icons like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho—and the basketball prestige associated with Michael Jordan.
The jersey features a bold, unique design inspired by the concept of “the threat of joy.” According to designer Mackenzie Sam, the kit’s textures and colorway are modeled after deadly Brazilian creatures, including the jaguar, the poisonous dart frog, and the anaconda, symbolizing the danger Brazilian players pose when they are at their most confident on the pitch.
Beyond the jersey, the collection includes basketball-inspired shorts and an anthem jacket that utilizes vintage materials like basketball mesh, bridging the gap between football and basketball culture as Brazil seeks its sixth World Cup title this summer.
