Infrastructure and Fleet Integration
The partnership goes beyond traditional sponsorship. BYD will actively integrate its technology into the club’s operations by:
- Vehicle Supply: Providing a fleet of BYD and premium DENZA models for club use.
- Smart Infrastructure: Installing vehicle charging stations and energy-storage batteries at the City Football Academy.
- Matchday Experience: A BYD vehicle will lead the men’s first-team bus into the Etihad Stadium for domestic fixtures, creating a unique “experiential” branding moment.

Fans will see the BYD logo immediately on the training kit sleeves of the men’s first team, with the women’s team set to follow next season. The deal also includes high-impact LED advertising within the Etihad Stadium and logo placement on dugout headrests.
