Cadillac F1 Team has announced a multi-year global partnership with multinational technology and materials company 3M, which will become the team’s official materials science partner.
Under the agreement, 3M will support Cadillac engineers and scientists in developing lightweight materials, improving manufacturing processes, and enhancing testing capabilities. The collaboration is aimed at improving on-track performance through advanced material innovation.
In return, Cadillac will provide 3M with extensive branding exposure across its Formula 1 operations. The 3M logo will feature on the cars driven by Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas, as well as across broader team assets.
The deal was brokered through Excel Sports Management, Cadillac’s exclusive commercial sales and strategy agency, which was appointed in April. Excel is responsible for expanding the team’s sponsorship portfolio, developing fan engagement strategies, and designing brand activation campaigns.
Cadillac has been rapidly building its commercial ecosystem ahead of its Formula 1 entry. Previous partners include TWG AI as its official artificial intelligence partner, Latin American telecom company América Móvil, and automotive components manufacturer Tenneco.
Last year, US fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger became the team’s first official sponsor on a multi-year deal. In 2026, enterprise software company IFS and data infrastructure firm Core Scientific also joined Cadillac’s growing partner network.
More recently, Cadillac signed a multi-year licensing agreement with motorsport memorabilia producer Memento Exclusives, enabling fans to purchase licensed products and collectibles inspired by the team’s debut Formula 1 season, including replica car components and show models.
