CazéTV has unveiled the Olympic Task Force (Mutirão Olímpico), a long-term initiative designed to strengthen Brazilian Olympic sport throughout the road to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The project is built around three strategic pillars: expanded event broadcasts, athlete mentorship, and commercial partnership opportunities.
According to the broadcaster, CazéTV has already aired more than 100 competitions across 20 Olympic sports since the start of the current Olympic cycle and expects to broadcast 230 events during 2026.
Despite extensive FIFA World Cup coverage, the platform continued investing in Olympic sports, streaming 14 Olympic events during the tournament and reaching approximately 4 million viewers.
Mentorship for nearly 100 athletes
The mentorship programme currently supports around 100 Brazilian athletes, including Olympic medalists Beatriz Souza (judo), Caio Bonfim (athletics) and Julia Soares (artistic gymnastics).
The initiative provides strategic guidance on content creation, social media, and personal brand development. Content produced through the programme has already generated more than 140 million views across social media platforms.
Creating new commercial opportunities
Beyond media exposure, the Olympic Task Force is designed to connect athletes with brands and monetisation opportunities outside traditional sponsorship models.
Seven corporate partners have already joined the initiative, including Piracanjuba, Vale, and Magalu, with the goal of helping athletes diversify their income streams while increasing the commercial visibility of Olympic sports in Brazil.
The programme reflects CazéTV’s broader strategy of leveraging its growing digital audience to provide year-round support for Olympic athletes, rather than focusing solely on major international competitions.
