Coventry City F.C. has announced the extension of its front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with Monzo for the 2026-27 season.
The renewal marks the third consecutive year of the partnership and comes as Coventry City prepares for its return to the Premier League following a historic promotion campaign.
Monzo branding will continue to appear on the front of the club’s shirts as Coventry enters its first Premier League season in more than two decades.
Since the partnership began in 2024, the club and Monzo have collaborated on fan engagement initiatives, creative digital content and matchday activations aimed at strengthening the connection between supporters and the brand.
The extension represents a significant commercial milestone for Coventry City as the club seeks to capitalize on the increased visibility and revenue opportunities associated with Premier League football.
Nicola Ibbetson, chief business officer of Coventry City, praised Monzo’s role in supporting the club’s growth over recent seasons.
“We’re delighted to continue our relationship with Monzo as we head into such an exciting season for the football club. Monzo have been a fantastic partner over the last two years and have shared our ambition and belief in where this club is heading,” she said.
AJ Coyne, vice president of marketing and growth at Monzo, emphasized the partnership’s focus on meaningful fan engagement beyond traditional sponsorship exposure.
“From day one, this partnership has been about more than just a logo on a shirt — it’s about connecting with fans in ways that feel meaningful,” Coyne stated.
Supporters are expected to see the club’s new Premier League kit featuring Monzo branding later this summer ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
