This summer, DAZN will be the go-to platform for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Italy, streaming all 104 matches of the tournament not only to homes but also to bars, restaurants, and public venues across the country.
For the first time in DAZN Italy’s history, fans will experience the World Cup entirely via OTT streaming, which already includes Serie A coverage under an agreement through the 2028/29 season. Through DAZN For Business, bars and restaurants can host fans and show every match live, bringing the excitement of the tournament to public spaces.
“Football is a shared passion, and the World Cup is when that passion reaches its peak,†said Stefano Azzi, CEO of DAZN Italy. “This summer, we will deliver the extraordinary excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup to venues where we will be the exclusive broadcaster of all matches. Fans can choose to watch from their living rooms, on mobile devices, or in local venues with other football lovers.â€
DAZN For Business, launched last year, strengthens the platform’s B2B offerings. Starting June 11, venues equipped with the service will become meeting points for fans eager to watch the world’s top teams compete. While commercial offers for the general public and potential distribution partnerships remain under discussion, DAZN aims to provide maximum flexibility and reach for Italian audiences.
This announcement positions DAZN as a key player in both home streaming and live fan experiences, combining digital innovation with the social excitement of watching football together in public spaces.
