The entire 2026 World Cup will be available on DAZN. The sports OTT platform has reached an agreement with Grup Mediapro to broadcast the dedicated channel produced by the Spanish company. This upcoming North American World Cup will be the longest in history, featuring 104 matches. Financial details of the alliance have not been disclosed.

The agreement mirrors the one Mediapro previously reached with Telefónica for Qatar 2022, which allowed Movistar Plus+ to broadcast the entire championship. Now, DAZN takes the baton. The platform will soon announce details regarding coverage and how the channel will be commercialized within its various subscription plans. The broadcast will feature DAZN’s regular team of professionals and the platform’s signature editorial style.

“With this agreement, we are taking a major step to ensure the world’s greatest sporting spectacle is accessible in an innovative and flexible way,” highlighted Óscar Vilda, CEO of DAZN Spain and Portugal. The 2026 World Cup will take place between June 11 and July 19 across 16 stadiums in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Already Broadcasted the Club World Cup

With this summer’s national team World Cup, DAZN strengthens its relationship with FIFA-organized tournaments. Last year, it broadcasted the men’s Club World Cup, recently aired the new women’s Club World Cup globally, and has integrated content from FIFA+, the official OTT platform of the organization led by Gianni Infantino.

Furthermore, the platform reinforces its football offering, which includes LaLiga EA Sports (where giants like Real Madrid—with their 261 stadium boxes—compete), Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, LaLiga Hypermotion, and Liga F Moeve. Its multi-sport portfolio also features MotoGP, Formula 1, Liga Endesa, NBA, and the NFL.

Free-to-Air Matches on RTVE

In addition to DAZN, portions of the 2026 World Cup will be available on RTVE. The public broadcaster paid 55 million euros for the free-to-air rights package. This includes all Spanish National Team matches, the opening match, both semifinals, and the final, along with a selection of other matches throughout the competition.
