DAZN is expanding its North American local sports rights strategy, becoming the exclusive direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming platform for locally available Los Angeles Kings NHL games from the 2026-27 season.
The agreement has been reached through a partnership with Angels Broadcast Television (ABTV), the Kings’ local television broadcaster. DAZN will provide live and on-demand coverage of locally televised Kings regular-season games and first-round Stanley Cup playoff games within the team’s local broadcast territory.
Nationally exclusive games will remain outside the package.
DAZN adds alternative to traditional TV
ABTV will continue to distribute Kings games through participating cable, satellite and streaming television providers, while DAZN will provide an additional DTC option for viewers without a traditional pay-TV subscription in the region.
DAZN subscribers will also have access to ABTV’s pregame and postgame coverage and original programming across connected TVs, mobile devices, tablets and web browsers.
The service will cost US$19.99 per month, while season packages will start at US$129.99. Selected games are also expected to be available over the air.
