Decathlon Expands Padel Footprint with New Partnership in Switzerland

Decathlon has officially strengthened its presence in the rapidly growing padel market by signing a strategic partnership with Padelta, a leading padel network in German-speaking Switzerland.

Equipping the Swiss Padel Scene

Under the terms of the agreement announced on March 12, 2026, the sports retail giant will become the official equipment provider for Padelta’s facilities. The collaboration marks a significant step for Decathlon as it continues to integrate its technical padel products into professional sports environments across Europe.

Padelta currently operates an extensive network of eleven sites, totaling over forty courts. The partnership comes at a time of rapid growth for the operator, with two additional centers scheduled to open in the coming weeks.

A Strategic Move for Decathlon

The partnership allows Decathlon to showcase its dedicated padel equipment directly to active players within one of Switzerland’s most prominent networks. By aligning with Padelta, Decathlon aims to solidify its reputation not just as a retailer, but as a key technical partner for specialized sports infrastructure.

The move follows Decathlon’s broader strategy to increase brand visibility in specialized racquet sports, leveraging its diverse product range to meet the demands of both amateur and competitive athletes in the Swiss market.
