Formula 1 will stage a new three-day fan event in Milan ahead of the 2027 season, expanding on the format of last year’s F1 75 Live launch event in London.
The event, named F1 Live Milan, will take place from February 18 to 20, 2027, although the exact venue has yet to be announced.
The three-day programme will consist of two main elements. The Milan Fan Festival will run throughout the event, while F1 The Show, scheduled for the evening of February 18, will bring together drivers and team principals from all 11 Formula 1 teams.
The initiative follows the success of F1 75 Live, which was held at London’s The O2 in 2025 to mark the championship’s 75th anniversary. That event featured team appearances, livery reveals, music and entertainment, with the Milan edition set to build on the concept with a broader fan-focused programme.
Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali said the event forms part of the sport’s wider strategy to bring fans closer to Formula 1 beyond the race weekend.
“We are always thinking big and pushing boundaries, and F1 Live Milan is going to be an incredible experience created with our fans at its heart,” Domenicali said.
Formula 1 has increasingly focused on developing entertainment and live experiences around its core racing product, using events such as F1 75 Live to create additional opportunities for fan engagement, commercial activation and global exposure.
While racing remains at the centre of the championship, F1 Live Milan represents another step in Formula 1’s efforts to turn the sport into a broader entertainment property and create large-scale experiences that extend beyond the traditional Grand Prix calendar.
