Gotham FC has announced a strategic partnership with Bank of America, naming the financial institution as the club’s official retail bank.
A key component of the collaboration is the club’s community initiative, Elevate Play, launched in October 2025. The program focuses on addressing the “play deficit†among youth in New York and New Jersey, where many children fall short of daily activity recommendations while spending significant time on screens. Through school-based programs, Elevate Play aims to integrate physical activity into recess, improve access to sports experiences, and support underserved communities.
The initiative, developed in partnership with the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund and supported by Playworks, will include school trainings based on Playworks’ curriculum and provide thousands of young people, educators, and caregivers with access to Gotham FC matches in 2026.
Club leadership emphasized that the partnership will help expand opportunities for youth engagement in sport while strengthening community impact across the region.
