IMG appoints Jackie Stevenson as chief client and operations officer

Global sports marketing giant IMG has appointed Jackie Stevenson as its new Chief Client and Operations Officer, filling a role that was first announced as part of the company’s leadership restructuring in April.

Stevenson will oversee IMG’s global operations and client delivery strategy, reporting directly to company president Adam Kelly.

She joins IMG from international marketing agency M&C Saatchi Group, where she served as Global Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. Prior to that, she spent three years at advertising conglomerate Interpublic, whose operations became part of Omnicom following its 2025 acquisition.

In her new position, Stevenson will be responsible for creating a more integrated operating model for IMG’s clients by bringing together the company’s capabilities across consulting, media rights, brand partnerships, production, digital services, data and event management.

“Sport and entertainment are evolving faster than ever, and clients increasingly need integrated partners who can connect rights, content, technology, data and commercial expertise,” Stevenson said. “IMG is uniquely positioned to do that at a global scale, and I’m excited to help shape the next chapter.”

IMG President Adam Kelly highlighted Stevenson’s experience in leading growth initiatives and transformation projects across complex international organizations.

The appointment represents another key step in IMG’s ongoing leadership transition. In April, the company named former Sky Sports executive Barney Francis as Chief Business Officer, placing him in charge of all commercial operations.

IMG remains one of the most influential companies in the global sports industry, representing more than 250 federations, leagues, events and teams worldwide. Its client portfolio includes the NFL, Premier League, MLS, International Olympic Committee, NHL, ATP and WTA Tours, Wimbledon, EuroLeague Basketball, DP World Tour, UFC and WWE.

Among its recent projects, IMG was also appointed as a strategic advisor to Poland’s top-flight football league, Ekstraklasa, for the sale of domestic media rights covering the 2027–2031 cycle.
