Kings League, the digital-first seven-a-side soccer phenomenon, has officially named David Muoser as its Managing Director for the United States. The appointment comes as the organization ramps up preparations for a highly anticipated North American launch later this year.

From Strategy to Leadership

Muoser, who joined Kings League in early 2025 as the Director of Strategy and Business Development, will now lead operations from the new regional headquarters in New York. His background is tailor-made for this role, featuring previous stints with the NBA and the luxury hospitality group Cabot.

“David has been brilliantly leading our preparation,” said Djamel Agaoua, CEO of Kings League. “His expertise in business expansion will be invaluable as we bring our revolutionary soccer product to the US market.”

A Global Phenomenon Ready for the American Audience

The US expansion will include both the Kings League (men’s) and Queens League (women’s) competitions. This move follows a massive $63 million funding round led by Alignment Growth, aimed at fueling the league’s rapid global growth.

Since its inception in Spain by Kosmos, Kings League has expanded into seven major regions, including Brazil, Mexico, Italy, and France. The league’s unique format—optimized for social media engagement and live streaming—captured over 120 million viewers during the recent Kings World Cup Nations in Brazil.

Strategic Momentum

The announcement follows a string of high-profile successes for the league in early 2026:

  • Adidas Partnership: A three-year renewal of their global partnership with the sportswear giant.
  • Investment Boost: Support from major firms like Left Lane and Antifund to support international leagues.

Muoser expressed his excitement for the venture: “With the world’s strongest creator economy and a growing appetite for soccer, the US is an incredible prospect. American fans are going to love this entertainment-focused version of the sport.”
