German construction equipment manufacturer Liebherr has extended its long-standing partnership with the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), confirming its role across two major table tennis events in 2026.
Under the renewed agreement, Liebherr will serve as a global event partner for the 2026 ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals in London and the WTT Champions tournament in Montpellier. The deal was signed with ITTF and its commercial arm, World Table Tennis.
As part of the partnership, Liebherr will benefit from prominent branding visibility across both competitions.
The London event holds particular significance as it marks the centenary edition of the ITTF World Championships—100 years after the inaugural tournament was staged in the same city. Matches will take place at the OVO Arena Wembley and Copper Box Arena, running through May 10.
Liebherr joins a strong lineup of sponsors including Ganten, DHS Sports, Butterfly, Li-Ning, Tibhar and Tata, all supporting the event beneath presenting partner ACN.
The partnership between Liebherr and the ITTF dates back to 2003, with the most recent extension signed in 2025. The collaboration continues to underline the brand’s long-term commitment to table tennis.
Meanwhile, the WTT Champions event in Montpellier is scheduled to take place from October 27 to November 1, further strengthening Liebherr’s presence in elite international table tennis.
