Italian sportswear brand Macron continued its growth trajectory in the first half of 2026, reporting revenue of €117.5 million, a 9.8% increase from the €107 million generated during the same period in 2025.
The performance also represents growth of more than 25% compared with the first half of 2024, when the company recorded €93 million in revenue, underlining the sustained expansion of the Bologna-based manufacturer.
The results reinforce Macron’s position as one of the fastest-growing sportswear brands in the team sports market, supported by an expanding international footprint and a business model focused on technical sponsorships, direct retail and digital commerce.
International markets drive growth
More than 80% of Macron’s first-half revenue came from international markets, highlighting the company’s increasing global reach.
CEO Gianluca Pavanello credited the performance to three strategic pillars: the brand’s ability to compete globally, its combination of innovation, performance and Italian design, and an integrated go-to-market strategy built around more than 200 Macron Sports Hub stores operating in over 40 countries, alongside the company’s proprietary digital ecosystem.
“Our first-half growth confirms the strength of our strategic vision,” Pavanello said. “Our model combines global competitiveness with innovation, performance and Italian style, while our international retail network and digital ecosystem continue to strengthen our market position.”
Employee ownership remains central
Alongside its financial results, Macron’s Board of Directors approved payments under the company’s stock option plan, which includes more than 100 employee-shareholders.
The initiative reflects Macron’s long-term philosophy of encouraging employee participation in value creation and fostering an entrepreneurial culture within the business.
According to Pavanello, the sense of ownership among employees remains one of the company’s key competitive advantages and an important driver behind its continued expansion.
Investing beyond apparel
Macron is also continuing to invest in its headquarters, the Macron Campus in Valsamoggia, near Bologna.
The company’s fourth building is now fully operational as Distribution Center 2, while the newly completed Macron Dome has added a 600-square-metre fitness facility, a 3×3 basketball court and a padel court. Future developments will include a cafeteria and an on-site retail store.
The campus now spans more than 115,000 square metres, reflecting Macron’s broader strategy of combining operational efficiency, employee wellbeing and sustainability within a single corporate ecosystem.
Following a record €244.6 million in revenue for the full year 2025, Macron expects to continue its international expansion and target another record financial performance by the end of 2026.
