Manchester City Names Revolut as Back-of-Shirt Sponsor

Manchester City and Revolut have signed a major sponsorship deal, appointing the fintech giant as a Global Partner and the club’s official back-of-shirt sponsor. The alliance, which expands on a collaboration that began with the women’s team in January 2025, marks Revolut’s strategic entry into the club’s men’s football structure.

The Revolut branding will feature on the back of the first-team kits during domestic cup competitions in the UK. For Manchester City Women, the visibility extends to all Women’s Super League (WSL) and cup matches. Additionally, the agreement includes placement on selected training gear for both squads.

Beyond branding, the partnership focuses on technical integration. Revolut Business will be incorporated into the club’s infrastructure to optimize operations, with plans to implement Revolut Pay as a payment gateway to enhance the fan shopping experience.

With over 70 million users globally, Revolut aims to reach the 100 million mark through this partnership. To kick off the activation, the company has launched four co-branded virtual cards for users across the UK and Europe. This deal adds to Revolut’s growing sports portfolio, which already includes partnerships in Formula 1, rugby, and the NBA.
