Former tennis player and 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has partnered with Italian fashion house Armani to launch a luxury real estate development in Marbella, southern Spain.
The project will consist of 33 branded residences, featuring private spa facilities and a members-only club. Homes will range from 250 square metres to exclusive units of up to 800 square metres.
The development is being carried out in collaboration with luxury property developer Sierra Blanca Estates and businessman Abel Matutes Prats through Palya Assets, a company co-founded with Nadal. It marks Armani’s first investment in the real estate sector.
According to reports, the project will be launched in phases, with the first stage offering only ten residences. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
Nadal said the partnership was based on long-standing relationships and shared vision, highlighting the experience of Sierra Blanca Estates in the Marbella luxury market and Armani’s global brand value.
The tennis star has previously expanded his business portfolio in real estate, including a hotel development partnership with Meliá Hotels International involving five luxury hotels in Argentina, with investments estimated at around $200 million.
Alongside his property ventures, Nadal continues to expand the Rafa Nadal Academy network. In November 2025, he announced the opening of its eighth international centre in Brazil, located in Porto Belo, marking the academy’s first expansion into South America.
