Nomadar Corporation, the publicly listed arm of Cádiz CF, has raised $5.4 million from investor Christian Septien in a move aimed at accelerating the company’s global growth strategy.
The investment, executed through Septien’s Sepsus Media Group, represents a minority stake of just under 10% in Nomadar. It also establishes Septien as a long-term strategic partner as the company continues to expand its sports, technology, and infrastructure ecosystem.
Fueling Global Sports Ambitions
Nomadar plans to deploy the newly secured funds across several key initiatives, including the expansion of its High Performance Training (HPT) program into new international markets. The company aims to scale its athlete development platform globally, combining performance training with technology-driven solutions.
Another major focus is the development of the JP Financial Arena project (formerly known as Sportech City). The initiative includes planning, design, permitting, and infrastructure development for a multi-use sports and entertainment destination.
Tech, Performance, and Infrastructure
Beyond physical infrastructure, Nomadar is also investing in advanced technology systems designed to enhance athlete development, performance analytics, and digital engagement platforms. The company positions itself at the intersection of sport, tech, tourism, and health.
Nomadar CEO and co-chairman Rafael Contreras described the company’s vision as building “a scalable global ecosystem that connects athlete development, technology, and international sports infrastructure.”
A Long-Term Strategic Bet
Investor Christian Septien emphasized the long-term nature of his commitment, highlighting the synergy between Cádiz CF’s global brand and Nomadar’s strategy to integrate technology into sport and related industries.
Septien noted that the combination of sports, tourism, and health creates a unique growth opportunity, reinforcing confidence in Nomadar’s long-term trajectory.
Expanding Global Footprint
Nomadar has been steadily building its international presence. Earlier this year, the company partnered with Actingwood to enter the Indian football market through the “India Football Pathway” initiative, a digital ecosystem designed to support young players’ development.
With operations now spanning multiple continents and continued expansion into new markets, Nomadar is positioning itself as a global player in sports development, blending investment, infrastructure, and technology into a unified growth strategy.
