The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has significantly boosted its European presence by signing a comprehensive broadcasting agreement with Movistar+, Spain’s premier pay-TV provider.

Under this new partnership, Movistar+ will air all 24 PFL Global and International League events in 2026. To maximize visibility, the content will be hosted on the “M+” channel, which is accessible to all subscribers on entry-level packages.

Perfect Timing for PFL Madrid

The announcement comes at a pivotal moment as the promotion prepares for its Spanish debut. PFL Madrid is scheduled to take place on March 20 at the Palacio Vistalegre.

“Partnering with Movistar Plus+ is a huge deal and opportunity for PFL,” said PFL CEO John Martin. “As the largest pay-TV service in Spain, the timing is perfect for us to bring elite MMA to their platform.”

Expanding the Global Footprint

This deal follows a string of international successes for the PFL, including:

  • France & Benelux: A multi-year tie-up with RMC Sport.
  • Mexico & Central America: A rights deal via FSM Rights (Fox Corporation).
  • China: A new agreement with a major domestic streaming platform.

While the PFL expands internationally, all eyes remain on the United States. With the current ESPN contract set to expire this year and rival UFC moving to Paramount in a record-breaking $7.7 billion deal, CEO John Martin has identified securing a new US media rights deal as his “biggest priority” for 2026.
