Polymarket has strengthened its sports strategy by partnering with football media platform OneFootball, aiming to embed prediction markets directly into the global football experience.
Access to 645 million monthly users
Through the agreement, Polymarket’s prediction tools will be integrated across OneFootball’s ecosystem, including its app, website, social channels, and live-streaming services. This gives Polymarket access to more than 645 million monthly users across 194 markets.
Predictions built into matchday experience
The integration will initially focus on:
- Match pages
- Editorial content environments
- Display and video advertising
- Personalized fan journeys
Future phases are expected to introduce:
- Live prediction widgets
- Odds-based content formats
- Real-time prediction features within selected live broadcasts
Expanding sports footprint
Polymarket has been rapidly expanding its presence in sports. The company has already secured partnerships with:
- LaLiga (US and Canada)
- Serie A
- Major League Soccer
It has also recently become front-of-shirt sponsor of Italian club Lazio, underlining its growing commercial footprint in football.
OneFootball’s global reach
OneFootball operates one of the largest digital football ecosystems in the world, with partnerships across major clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City.
The platform is also expanding its collaboration with the US Soccer Federation ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including dedicated content hubs for national teams.
A shift in fan engagement
The partnership reflects a broader trend in football media: moving from passive consumption to interactive, data-driven engagement where fans not only watch matches but actively participate through predictions and real-time interaction.
