Puma unveils 11 national team kits across four continents in global football campaign

Puma

Sportswear giant PUMA has revealed its latest national team kits in a bold global showcase, reinforcing its position ahead of the upcoming international football competitions.

The new collection spans 11 nations across four continents, highlighting Puma’s expanding footprint in elite football and its deep ties with global football culture.

Global launch in New York City

Puma introduced the kits through a unique street-level event at Domino Square, choosing a community-driven approach over a traditional stadium or media launch.

The event blended football, music, food, and cultural expression, with local players representing each nation wearing the new kits for the first time in a 4v4 tournament organized by NYC Footy.

11 nations, four continents

The collection includes national teams from:

Portugal, Morocco, Ghana, Paraguay, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Czech Republic, Switzerland, New Zealand, Austria, and Egypt.

This wide representation underscores Puma’s strength in international football, particularly its strong presence among African national teams.

Football meets culture

The launch emphasized community engagement and cultural identity. Each nation was represented through custom-designed trucks featuring local food, music, and art, creating an immersive fan experience.

Puma’s approach reflects a shift toward connecting with fans in everyday environments rather than traditional marketing platforms.

Legendary presence and cultural influence

Football legends including Ricardo Quaresma, Asamoah Gyan, and El Hadji Diouf attended the event, bridging generations and reinforcing the emotional connection between the brand and football heritage.

The event also featured live music performances, including Ghanaian artist Black Sherif, alongside DJs and cultural collaborators.

Strategic positioning ahead of major tournaments

With nearly a quarter of participating national teams in upcoming competitions outfitted by Puma, the brand continues to strengthen its position as a leader in football apparel.

The company combines technical innovation with cultural storytelling, aiming to deliver both performance and identity through its kits.

As Puma continues to invest in global football partnerships, its latest national team collection highlights a strategy built on visibility, performance, and deep cultural engagement.
