Rafa Nadal Academy expands padel tour

The Rafa Nadal Academy is bringing its amateur padel tour to the US in 2026 with four stops, partnering with Playtomic and Babolat to accelerate growth.

The Rafa Nadal Academy has announced a strategic expansion of its Padel Tour across Europe, supported by a new global partnership with eSIM and connectivity provider Holafly.

The amateur competition series, which has already brought together more than 3,000 players in Spain and Italy, will now extend into new international markets including Poland, the United Kingdom, and Germany as part of its 2026 growth plan.

Under the new structure, Poland will host events in cities such as Gdynia, Warsaw, and Katowice, while the UK calendar includes tournaments in London and Manchester. In Germany, matches are planned for Munich and Hamburg. The Italian leg will continue with stops across major cities including Rome, Milan, Naples, Florence, Turin, and Ancona.

The tour will conclude with a final stage held at the Rafa Nadal Academy facilities in Mallorca, bringing together participants from across the different national circuits.

Holafly, which operates in more than 200 destinations worldwide and serves over 15 million users through its eSIM connectivity services, joins the project as a key global partner to support its international expansion and digital infrastructure.

Rafa Nadal Academy Deputy General Manager Maribel Nadal said the partnership strengthens the academy’s international growth strategy and helps consolidate the Padel Tour as a leading amateur competition platform.

Holafly Marketing Director Daniela Prado added that padel represents a fast-growing global sport aligned with the company’s vision of a dynamic, mobile-connected lifestyle.

The expansion reflects the continued commercial growth of padel as one of the fastest-growing sports globally, with increasing investment from academies, brands, and international sponsors.
