The iconic RCDE Stadium in Barcelona will transform into a large-scale food entertainment venue this June as it welcomes the European touring event The Champions Burger.
Following a record-breaking stop in Barcelona with over 180,000 visitors, the festival returns with a redesigned concept focused on immersive street food culture.
California Dreaming theme
The stadium will be fully transformed under the “California Dreaming” theme, inspired by the U.S. West Coast lifestyle. Neon visuals, pastel-colored food trucks, and open-air street food aesthetics will recreate a vibrant festival atmosphere.
Smash burger competition
Nineteen restaurants will compete with specially crafted smash burgers, a technique that presses beef onto a hot grill to create a crispy caramelized crust while keeping the inside juicy.
Four local Barcelona-area participants include:
- El Surtidor
- Ficus
- La Tóxica
- Gala Urban Food
Visitors will vote for their favorites via QR code, and the top three will advance toward the final rankings, while a local favorite will receive special recognition.
Cheesecake expansion
The festival will also introduce “The Champions Cheesecake”, a new dessert zone featuring viral and creative cheesecake interpretations from leading pastry chefs across Spain.
The event positions RCDE Stadium as a growing hub for large-scale cultural and gastronomic entertainment in Barcelona.
