Real Madrid is expanding its commercial footprint beyond football through a new partnership with the Formula 1 Madrid Grand Prix.
The Spanish club will serve as a Local Event Supporter for the race, which will take place at the Madring circuit from September 11-13, 2026, while also becoming part of the event’s hospitality programme.
As part of the agreement, Real Madrid will make selected facilities at its Valdebebas training complex, located just a few metres from the circuit, available to the race organisers.
The club will also operate its own dedicated hospitality space during the Grand Prix, creating opportunities to engage with Real Madrid players and club legends throughout the race weekend.
A new commercial link between football and Formula 1
The partnership brings together two of the world’s most recognisable sports brands around Madrid’s newest major sporting event.
For Formula 1, Real Madrid’s involvement adds a powerful global sports brand to the commercial ecosystem surrounding its return to the Spanish capital.
The Madrid Grand Prix marks Formula 1’s return to the city 45 years after the last race at the Jarama circuit. The new Madring venue is expected to establish Madrid as a long-term destination on the Formula 1 calendar.
Real Madrid’s involvement also highlights the growing convergence between football, motorsport, entertainment and premium hospitality, with the Grand Prix positioned as more than a traditional racing event.
For Real Madrid, the partnership provides another opportunity to extend its global brand beyond football and connect with new audiences through one of the world’s fastest-growing sports properties.
The collaboration ultimately creates a new commercial bridge between Real Madrid’s global football platform and Formula 1’s expanding entertainment and hospitality ecosystem.
