Sportfive Secures Global Media Rights Remit for 2027 and 2031 Pan Am Games

Panam Sports has appointed global sports marketing agency Sportfive to lead the international media rights sales for the next two editions of the Pan American Games. The partnership covers the 2027 Games in Lima, Peru, and the 2031 Games in Asuncion, Paraguay.

Global Reach and Digital Strategy

Sportfive will leverage its extensive network to target traditional linear broadcasters, OTT platforms, and digital content streamers. The goal is to maximize visibility and engagement across the Americas while expanding the event’s footprint to a global audience.

“This partnership is transformational for us,” said Robert Müller von Vultejus, Sportfive’s Chief Growth Officer. “We see immense potential in connecting the passion of Pan American sport with audiences worldwide.”

Hosting Evolution

  • 2027 Lima: The Peruvian capital steps in as host for the second time (following 2019) after Barranquilla, Colombia, was stripped of hosting rights in 2024.
  • 2031 Asuncion: Paraguay will make history by hosting the regional flagship event for the first time.

Following the success of Santiago 2023—which featured a record 39 sports and over 6,900 athletes—Sportfive faces the task of securing widespread coverage for an event that continues to grow in scale and commercial value.
