Takis Becomes Official Front-of-Shirt Sponsor for Kings League Spain’s Sixth Split

The Kings League, the innovative seven-a-side football competition founded by former FC Barcelona star Gerard Piqué, has announced a major new partnership. Takis, the popular snack brand owned by Grupo Bimbo, is officially joining the league as a sponsor for the upcoming sixth split in Spain.

A New Look for the Sixth Split

As part of the agreement, Takis will have its logo prominently displayed on the front of all team jerseys throughout the duration of the sixth split. Beyond the kit exposure, the collaboration aims to deeply integrate the brand into the league’s digital and physical ecosystem.

Fans can expect to see Takis actively involved in the Sunday matchday experiences. According to league officials, the goal is to create immersive activations that resonate with the competition’s digital-first community, further cementing the league’s reputation as a disruptive force in global sports entertainment.

Continued Commercial Growth

This deal follows a significant period of commercial momentum for the Kings League. Just two weeks ago, the league announced a major global renewal with Adidas, which will continue to serve as the official technical partner for all Kings League and Queens League competitions worldwide—including events in France, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, and the MENA region—until June 2028.

Financially, the league has shown impressive growth. During the 2024 fiscal year, the organization doubled its global revenue to €40 million, up from €20 million the previous year. Industry insiders suggest that this trajectory is likely to continue through 2025, reflecting the scalability and commercial appeal of Piqué’s unique sports-entertainment model.

While the league has reported previous operational costs—including €5 million in personnel expenses—the aggressive acquisition of high-profile sponsors like Takis and Adidas underscores the strong market traction the Kings League continues to command internationally.
