Veteran broadcaster Tim Brando has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with Fox Sports, ensuring his continued role across college football and basketball coverage.
Brando, who has been with Fox since 2014, will maintain his primary duties as a play-by-play announcer on both Fox and FS1. His assignments will continue to focus on college football and college basketball, with occasional appearances on NFL coverage when needed.
Over the past two seasons, Brando has worked alongside analyst Devin Gardner, following a long-standing partnership with Spencer Tillman that spanned two decades.
Before joining Fox, Brando spent 18 years at CBS Sports, where he covered major events including the NCAA Tournament and SEC football. He also holds a notable place in broadcasting history as the original host of College GameDay in 1987, alongside Lee Corso and Beano Cook.
The extension will take Brando’s tenure with Fox close to 15 years, reinforcing his longevity in the industry. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has worked across multiple networks including ESPN and CBS, building a reputation as one of the most experienced voices in U.S. sports media.
Fox Sports declined to comment on the agreement.
