UFC has signed a multi-year agreement to continue hosting events in Baku, extending its presence in the country until 2028.
Under the deal with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Youth and Sports and Baku City Circuit Operations Company, the UFC will stage one Fight Night event per year in the city.
The next event is scheduled for June 27 at the National Gymnastics Arena, which can host up to 10,000 fans.
The agreement follows UFC’s debut event in Azerbaijan last year, which attracted more than 14,000 spectators and marked the promotion’s first-ever show in the country.
Officials described the partnership as part of Azerbaijan’s broader strategy to position itself as a global sports destination, building on previous hosting of major events such as Formula 1 races and international multi-sport competitions.
UFC president Dana White praised the city, highlighting strong fan engagement and hospitality during the organization’s first visit, and encouraged international fans to attend future events in Baku.
