Umbro and the National Futsal League (LNF) have announced a long-term extension of their sponsorship agreement, securing the British brand’s role as the competition’s official sports supplier through the 2029 season.
This renewal marks a significant milestone, as the partnership—which began in 2017—will now exceed a decade of collaboration, solidifying Umbro’s position as a pillar of the futsal ecosystem in the Americas.
Core Components of the Agreement
Under the terms of the renewed contract, Umbro continues to provide the essential gear for the league’s operations:
- Official Match Ball: Umbro remains the exclusive supplier of the official ball used across all LNF matches.
- Staff and Officiating Kits: The brand will continue to outfit referees, game commissioners, and league officials.
- Commercial and Media Presence: The deal guarantees Umbro extensive brand visibility, including advertising boards around the courts, interview backdrops, inclusion in institutional materials, and prominent placement across the LNF’s digital platforms and social media channels.
A Strategic Commitment to Futsal
For both parties, this extension represents more than just a sponsorship; it is a shared investment in the technical development and growth of Brazilian futsal.
“The LNF is the most competitive and important futsal league in the Americas, making it a cornerstone of Umbro’s strategy for the sport in Brazil,” said Eduardo Dal Pogetto, Director of Umbro Brazil. “This renewal reinforces our commitment to strengthening the entire futsal ecosystem.”
Fellipe Drommond, President of the LNF, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the synergy between the two entities: “Since 2017, we have built a successful history both on and off the court. This renewal reinforces our mutual trust and our certainty that we will continue delivering the best for Brazilian futsal.”
