The FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) has officially strengthened its European television presence for the 2026 season by securing major broadcast agreements in Portugal and Greece.

The 12-round global campaign—which kicks off this weekend at Phillip Island, Australia—will be available through DAZN in Portugal and ANT1+ in Greece. These deals cover all competitive classes, including WorldSSP, the new WorldSPB (Sportbike) category, and the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR).

Portugal: The “Oliveira Factor”

Broadcasting rights in Portugal have been awarded to DAZN, capturing a surge in local interest driven by MotoGP star Miguel Oliveira.

  • The Debut: Oliveira is set to make his WorldSBK debut this season with the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, riding the BMW M 1000 RR alongside Danilo Petrucci.
  • Home Rounds: Portuguese fans will enjoy specialized coverage for the two national events:
    • Portimão: March 27–29.
    • Estoril: October 9–11.

Greece: Expanding the Motorsport Ecosystem

In Greece, ANT1+ becomes the exclusive home of the championship.

  • Free Access: To celebrate the launch, ANT1+ will offer the season-opening Australian Round for free to all users.
  • Broad Visibility: While the primary live action remains on the ANT1+ digital platform, highlights from each round will be broadcast on ANT1 TV, ensuring wider reach across the Greek market.
  • National Interest: Local fans will be watching Ioannis Peristeras, who returns to the global stage in the new WorldSPB class on an Aprilia RS 660.
