FanCode has retained exclusive broadcast and streaming rights in India for three of golf’s most prestigious major tournaments: The Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, and the US Open (golf).
The renewed agreement ensures that FanCode will continue to serve as the primary destination for golf coverage in India, offering live and on-demand access through its app, connected TV platforms, and website.
Coverage across the 2026 major season
The 2026 major golf season begins with The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club, scheduled for April 9–12. This will be followed by the PGA Championship (May 14–17) and the US Open (June 18–21), all of which will be available exclusively on FanCode in the Indian market.
Strengthening its golf portfolio
FanCode, operated by Dream Sports, has positioned itself as a central hub for golf content in India. Alongside the majors, the platform also holds rights to major professional circuits including the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, Ladies European Tour, and LIV Golf, as well as marquee events like the Ryder Cup.
Market positioning and strategy
With this renewed deal, FanCode continues to consolidate its role as a dominant digital broadcaster for golf in India. The platform’s strategy focuses on aggregating premium international golf content under one subscription-based ecosystem, catering to a growing audience for the sport in the region.
According to company leadership, golf maintains a dedicated fan base in India, and securing long-term rights to major championships is key to sustaining engagement and expanding viewership across multiple devices and formats.
Outlook
By maintaining exclusive access to golf’s biggest events, FanCode strengthens both its competitive position in the streaming market and its broader sports content portfolio, reinforcing its role as a key player in the distribution of global sports content in India.
