Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired a stake in Brazilian streaming platform LiveModeTV as part of his growing push into digital media and sports broadcasting ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
LiveModeTV is linked to Brazil’s popular sports broadcaster CazéTV and focuses on live sports content distributed through digital platforms.
“The mission is to put sports out there for everyone, in a whole new inspiring way,” Ronaldo said in a statement. He added that the company aims to increase audience reach and fan engagement through YouTube broadcasts and content shared across social media platforms.
The move further expands Ronaldo’s business portfolio beyond football, with the Portuguese star increasingly investing in media, technology and digital entertainment ventures.
Often described as the world’s first billionaire footballer, Ronaldo has continued to strengthen his presence in the global sports business industry alongside his playing career.
