FIFA renews Betano sponsorship for World Cup in Europe and South America

FIFA has renewed its partnership with sports betting operator Betano for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, extending a relationship that began during the Qatar 2022 tournament.

Under the new agreement, Betano will serve as an official sponsor for the 2026 World Cup across Europe and South America. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Owned by Kaizen Gaming, Betano became FIFA’s first-ever betting sponsor when it joined the governing body’s commercial programme for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The brand also participated in FIFA’s inaugural expanded Club World Cup held in the United States last summer.

Romy Gai, FIFA’s Chief Business Officer, said the partnership reflects a shared ambition to bring fans closer to football and create new entertainment experiences around the sport.

George Daskalakis, co-founder and CEO of Kaizen Gaming, described the renewal as a sign of the company’s international growth, adding that the World Cup platform offers an opportunity to strengthen Betano’s position as a trusted global online sports betting brand.

The renewal further highlights FIFA’s continued openness to gaming-sector partnerships as it builds its commercial portfolio ahead of the 2026 tournament in North America.
