The 2026 season of the Kings League Brazil generated more than 25 million viewers across official broadcasts, reinforcing the rapid growth of the seven-a-side football competition created by Gerard Piqué.
According to Brazilian sports business outlet Máquina do Esporte, the tournament reached 18.29 million viewers through CazéTV on YouTube, while the league’s official channel added another 7.06 million viewers throughout the season.
The final took place on Monday at the Trident Arena in Guarulhos, where DesimpaiN defeated G3X FC to claim the title.
The total audience is expected to rise further once figures from team presidents’ personal channels are consolidated. Many of the league’s club presidents are among Brazil’s most influential digital creators, helping amplify the competition’s reach across social media platforms.
Among the high-profile personalities involved are Neymar, who serves as president of Fúria, along with futsal legend Falcão and creators such as Gaules, Nobru, Toguro and Luva de Pedreiro.
A survey released earlier this year by Visa found that 55% of Brazilians are familiar with the Kings League brand, while 65% expressed interest in following the recently concluded season.
Launched in 2022, the Kings League has gained international attention for blending football with gaming-inspired entertainment mechanics. Matches feature “secret weapon” cards that can trigger unexpected twists, including penalty kicks, temporary player removals and double-goal periods.
Industry analysts believe the format particularly appeals to Generation Z audiences, whose sports consumption habits are increasingly centered around digital, interactive and creator-led content experiences.
